As customers start to repair leaks from the storm, we would like to remind you that the customer is responsible for furnishing and laying the customer service pipe from the meter location to the place of consumption. Customers will not be allowed to use Patterson Water’s cutoff valve on our side of the meter. Existing customers may install cut off valves on their side of the meter and are encouraged to do so. All new customers may be required to install and maintain a cutoff valve on their side of the meter. A customer having a shut off valve on their side of the meter will protect their homes from possible water damage. There is a 2 hour response time for emergency issues due to the distance our systems. Please take care of your side of the meter with a shut off valve. Tampering or breaking Patterson Water’s shut off valve will result in the charging of customer.
